20 Passenger Trains Cancelled from Sept 20 as Bina Yard Remodeling Hits Bhopal Division

From September 20 through October, twenty passenger services in the Bhopal division will be cancelled as the Bina‑Agasod third line yard remodel proceeds.
The Indian Railways has announced that twenty passenger trains operating in the Bhopal division will be cancelled between September 20 and the end of October. The cancellations are a direct consequence of the ongoing yard‑remodeling work at Bina, which is being undertaken to lay a third railway line between Bina and Agasod.
Among the affected services are the Bhopal‑Gwalior Intercity, the Shri Dham Express and the Rajyarani Express, along with several other local and regional trains. Each train will be withdrawn on a different date as the remodeling schedule progresses.
Railway officials have advised passengers to verify the latest timetables and consider alternative routes or modes of transport. Refunds and re‑booking options will be made available through the usual channels.
The Bina yard project is part of a broader effort to increase line capacity and reduce congestion on the central Indian rail network. While the work is expected to improve service reliability in the long term, commuters in the region will have to cope with the temporary disruption.
