140 Maharashtra Residents Rescued in Kathmandu by Shiv Sena, Set to Return Home

The recent floods in Nepal have left many travelers stranded in Kathmandu, prompting a swift response from Indian volunteers. Shiv Sena volunteers, operating from the Indian Embassy, managed to rescue 140 residents from Maharashtra who were caught in the deluge. The evacuees were accommodated in temporary shelters while arrangements were made for their safe passage back to India. Officials confirmed that the rescued group will be transported home via a chartered flight scheduled for the coming days.
