12 Special Trains to Run from Bhopal Division for Diwali, Chhath Festivities

Six pairs of special trains will operate from the Bhopal railway division to destinations including Gaya, Rewa, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, Mumbai and Hadapsar, easing travel during Diwali and Chhath.
Indian Railways has announced the deployment of twelve special trains – six pairs – from the Bhopal railway division to cope with the surge of passengers expected during the Diwali and Chhath festivals. The move is aimed at providing additional capacity on routes that typically see heavy traffic during these holidays.
The special services will connect Bhopal with key pilgrimage and commercial centres such as Gaya, Rewa, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, Mumbai and Hadapsar. Each pair comprises a train in each direction, ensuring round‑trip availability for holiday‑makers and pilgrims alike.
Tickets for the special trains will be sold through the regular reservation system, and travellers are advised to book early as seats are likely to fill quickly. The additional trains are expected to ease congestion on regular services and offer smoother journeys for those traveling for festive celebrations.
