Around 1,100 women beneficiaries gathered in Samyagarh Panchayat, Mokama, Patna, and swore to reject any bribery while accessing government welfare programmes.
Around 1,100 women beneficiaries assembled at Samyagarh Panchayat in the Tal block of Mokama, Patna district, Bihar, to take a collective oath against corruption and bribery.
Holding a prasadam from Deoghar in their hands, the participants pledged not to give or receive any money as a bribe while applying for or receiving any government welfare scheme.
The gathering highlighted a growing resolve among grassroots communities to ensure that public assistance reaches them transparently, without the pressure of illicit payments.
Organisers said the oath aims to empower women to claim their entitlements confidently and to set an example for other beneficiaries across the state.
