Acting on a complaint from an Agra-based trader, Patna police have seized 11 kilograms of silver anklets and toe rings being sold under fake brand names in the Bakarganj jewellery market.
Patna police have taken action against the sale of counterfeit jewellery in the city's Bakarganj market. The operation was initiated following a complaint lodged by a businessman from Agra.
During a raid conducted based on the complaint, authorities discovered and seized approximately 11 kilograms of silver ornaments. These included anklets and toe rings that were being marketed under the guise of established brands.
The seized items were allegedly being passed off as branded silver products, raising concerns about fraudulent trade practices within the local jewellery market.
