Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced the creation of a dedicated company to promote MSMEs in Madhya Pradesh, alongside incentives for private industrial parks.
The Madhya Pradesh government disclosed a major step to strengthen the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) sector. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that a separate corporate entity will be formed to channel policy support, financing and technical assistance exclusively for MSMEs across the state.
The new company will operate under the state’s industrial development department and is expected to act as a one‑stop hub for MSME entrepreneurs, facilitating easier access to government schemes, credit facilities and market linkages.
Alongside the company formation, the CM also revealed a grant of Rs 50 lakh per hectare for private industrial parks and a promise to make industrial land available in every district within two months, underscoring a broader push to attract investment.
Officials said the dedicated MSME firm will be incorporated within weeks and will coordinate with existing agencies to streamline approvals and promote cluster development, aiming to boost employment and export potential.
The initiative reflects Madhya Pradesh’s ambition to position itself as a leading hub for small‑scale manufacturing and to accelerate the state’s overall economic growth.
