Uttarakhand CM Dhami Praises PM Modi’s Agniveer Initiative as National Interest

The Agniveer program, introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to recruit young volunteers for India’s paramilitary forces. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami of Uttarakhand welcomed the initiative, saying that "PM Modi’s decisions are always in national interest." Dhami highlighted that the program offers Uttarakhand’s youth a chance to serve in the armed forces and strengthen national security. He added that the move aligns with the state’s focus on defense and employment opportunities for its citizens. The Agniveer scheme is expected to attract thousands of applicants across the country, including many from Uttarakhand.
