Thirteen‑year‑old Supriya and Suhani, belonging to different caste families, drowned in a pond in Gurua block, Gaya district, and were laid to rest in a single grave as a tribute to their friendship.
Two teenage girls, both aged 13, lost their lives after falling into a pond in Gurua block of Gaya district, Bihar. The victims, identified as Supriya and Suhani, came from families belonging to different castes but shared a close friendship. Local residents say the girls were playing near the water when they slipped and were unable to escape the deep water.
