Actor Tahir Raj Bhasin confirmed that the upcoming Hindi film 'Pal Bhar Ke Liye' is a remake of Vikram Phadnis' Marathi original, and described his role as a 'ray of hope' for audiences.
Actor Tahir Raj Bhasin revealed on a recent interview that the Hindi film 'Pal Bhar Ke Liye' is a remake of director Vikram Phadnis' Marathi original. The announcement came as part of the film’s promotional activities ahead of its release.
The original Marathi movie, which starred Phadnis in a leading role, was well received for its emotional narrative and social message. 'Pal Bhar Ke Liye' aims to bring the same story to a wider Hindi-speaking audience, retaining the core themes while adapting cultural nuances.
Bhasin said his character in the film is a “ray of hope” for viewers, highlighting the positive impact the protagonist is expected to have. He added that the role will resonate with audiences facing everyday struggles.
The Hindi version is being produced by XYZ Studios and is slated for a theatrical release in late 2026, with a planned digital launch following the theatrical run.
