The Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Ramayana’ has accumulated almost ₹85 crore in advance bookings worldwide, yet its domestic performance remains below expectations.
The Hindi‑language epic drama ‘Ramayana’, starring Ranbir Kapoor, has crossed the ₹85 crore mark in advance bookings across international markets.
Despite this global haul, the film’s domestic advance sales have lagged, falling short of the figures seen in overseas territories.
The movie, set for release in theatres on 15 September, is based on the ancient Sanskrit epic and has attracted significant pre‑sales from distributors worldwide.
Industry analysts note that while overseas distributors have secured large pre‑orders, the domestic market has yet to match the enthusiasm, leaving the film’s overall opening weekend earnings uncertain.
