New Zealand Cricket confirmed two separate One Day International squads for the forthcoming series against India, as per ICC.
New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has released details of its One Day International squads for the series scheduled in India later this year. The board chose a split‑squad format, dividing its player pool into two distinct groups.
The announcement, made through an ICC release, is intended to manage player workload and provide flexibility given the demanding travel and match schedule. Both squads will blend seasoned internationals with emerging talent.
By rotating the two groups throughout the series, New Zealand aims to field competitive sides while preserving player fitness ahead of future international commitments.
