An accused arrested under the NDPS Act escaped from police custody in Dhoulpur, Rajasthan, by breaking a window.
A man accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has escaped from police custody in Rajasthan's Dhoulpur district. The accused, identified as Srinivasan T, was arrested eight days ago in connection with the seizure of 261 kilograms of ganja on National Highway-44. He managed to break free by shattering a window at the Dihoul Police Station. Following the incident, two constables have been suspended pending an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the escape.
