Police in Bundi district say a minor was taken from a fair on Oct 27 under a pretext and four suspects have been charged with gang rape.
The Dabi police station in Bundi district has registered a case of alleged gang rape involving a minor. According to the FIR, the child was attending a local fair on the night of October 27 when a known acquaintance allegedly lured her away from the venue.
Police investigators say the suspect used the pretext of taking the girl elsewhere and subsequently committed sexual assault, involving multiple perpetrators.
Four individuals have been identified, arrested and charged under sections of the Indian Penal Code pertaining to rape and criminal conspiracy. The case is being investigated as a collective offence, and the accused are currently in judicial custody pending further inquiry.
Authorities have urged witnesses to come forward and have assured that the investigation will be conducted swiftly, emphasizing the seriousness of crimes against minors in the region.
