Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho said there is no doubt that the Kuki National Front (Progressive) is linked to recent Naga killings and urged Minister Nemcha Kipgen to step down.

Manipur Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho publicly asserted that the Kuki National Front (Progressive) is unquestionably involved in the recent killings of Naga community members. He emphasized that the evidence points directly to the outfit, leaving no room for doubt.

In the same statement, Dikho demanded the resignation of Minister Nemcha Kipgen, alleging that her continued presence in the government undermines accountability for the violence. He called for immediate action to restore public confidence.

The accusation adds a new dimension to the ongoing tension in the state, where ethnic clashes have heightened political sensitivities. While no official response from the KNF(P) or Kipgen has been reported, the deputy chief minister’s remarks are likely to intensify scrutiny of the government’s handling of the incident.
