Manipur CM urges students to practice honesty, hard work and humanity

In a recent public address, Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh spoke to a group of school and college students, urging them to embed honesty, hard work and humanity into their daily conduct. He highlighted that these values are essential not only for personal growth but also for building a responsible citizenry.
The CM stressed that academic achievement alone is insufficient without a strong moral foundation. He cited examples of young individuals who have succeeded by combining diligence with integrity and empathy towards others.
He concluded by calling on educators and parents to reinforce these principles at home and in classrooms, asserting that a generation grounded in such virtues will contribute positively to Manipur's development.
The speech was well‑received, with several student leaders acknowledging the relevance of the message in today’s competitive environment.
