Hundreds of girls from Mandla's Kanya Shiksha Parishad staged a protest at the collectorate, demanding the removal of their hostel warden.

Hundreds of female students from Mandla Kanya Shiksha Parishad gathered on the morning of Thursday and marched to the district collectorate in Mandla. The protest was organized to demand the removal of the hostel warden, who has been accused of misconduct by the students.

The students presented a written petition to the collector’s office, outlining grievances that include alleged harassment and neglect of hostel facilities. They also carried placards calling for a transparent investigation and the warden’s dismissal.

The collectorate officials received the petition and assured the students that the matter would be examined by the district administration. No official statement from the warden or the school administration has been released yet.

The protest reflects growing concerns among students about safety and management in government-run hostels across Madhya Pradesh. Similar demonstrations have been reported in other districts, prompting state authorities to review hostel policies.

The students plan to continue their sit‑in at the collectorate until a decision is made. They have requested the district administration to appoint a neutral committee to investigate the allegations.
