The Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for 2026, conducted after a decade, saw over 4.85 lakh aspirants. As of now, the official answer key remains unavailable, delaying result declaration.
The Jharkhand School Education Department held the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for 2026 after a ten‑year gap, marking the first such examination in the state since 2016. More than 4.85 lakh candidates registered and appeared for the paper across multiple test centres.
Despite the large turnout, the department has not yet released the official answer key, a prerequisite for the calculation and publication of final results. Candidates and coaching centres are awaiting the key to assess their performance and to prepare for the next steps in the recruitment process.
Education officials have indicated that the answer key will be uploaded on the department’s website once verification is complete, but no specific timeline has been provided. The delay has heightened anxiety among aspirants who are eager to secure teaching positions in government schools.
