Weather officials in Punjab reported a 1.5°C fall in daytime temperature across Patiala today.
Patiala recorded a noticeable dip in daytime temperature today, with the mercury falling by 1.5°C compared with the previous day's readings, according to the Punjab State Meteorological Department.
The drop was observed during the late morning hours at the city's official weather station, which monitors temperature trends across the region. Meteorologists attribute the decline to a cold front moving southward from the Himalayas, bringing cooler air masses into the plains.
Officials cautioned residents to expect continued mild conditions through the evening and advised farmers to adjust irrigation schedules accordingly.
