The Jharkhand government will begin a child register survey on November 10 to identify students who have dropped out of school.
Jharkhand's Ministry of Education announced that a comprehensive child register survey will commence on 10 November across all districts.
The survey aims to update the state’s database of children aged 6 to 18 and flag those who have stopped attending school.
Officials say the data will help design targeted interventions and allocate resources to schools with high dropout rates.
The survey will be conducted by district education officers in collaboration with local schools and community volunteers.
Results are expected to be available by early December, enabling the government to launch remedial programs before the next academic session.
