Indore's SGSITS to Offer Engineering in Hindi Under New Education Policy

Under the National Education Policy, the Shri Govindram Saksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS) in Indore has launched an engineering program in Hindi, offering flexible diploma and degree options.
The Shri Govindram Saksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS) in Indore has initiated a pioneering engineering program conducted entirely in Hindi, a first for the institution. This unique offering is in line with the National Education Policy's vision to promote vernacular languages in higher education.
The new curriculum provides students with the flexibility to pursue a diploma or a full engineering degree. A significant feature of the program is the provision for students to exit with a diploma or re-enter to complete their degree, offering a more adaptable learning pathway.
Despite the innovative approach, the initial phase of counseling has seen a modest enrollment, with only two students having secured admission to the Hindi-medium engineering program thus far.
