India has deployed additional troops along the Arunachal Pradesh frontier, signalling a shift from passive to active posture amid rising tensions with China.
The Indian Army has increased its presence along the Arunachal Pradesh frontier, a move that marks a departure from the previously low‑profile stance in the region.
According to officials from the Ministry of Defence, the deployment is part of a broader effort to strengthen border security amid growing concerns over Chinese incursions.
The new troop concentration is expected to enhance surveillance and rapid response capabilities in key sectors of the frontier.
While the exact number of additional soldiers has not been disclosed, the move underscores India's commitment to maintaining a robust deterrent posture in the area.
