Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu announced the addition of 12 new postgraduate (PG) seats across several specialties, taking the institution's total PG capacity to 254.
The expansion is aimed at strengthening medical education in the region and addressing the chronic shortage of specialist doctors in Jammu and Kashmir.
The newly created seats will be filled through the regular NEET‑PG counseling process, with admissions slated for the upcoming academic cycle.
