The Delhi Development Authority has banned single‑use plastic bottles at all sports complexes, installing water dispensers and separate wet‑dry waste bins as part of a month‑long cleanliness drive across the city.
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has prohibited the use of single‑use plastic bottles in all sports complexes across the city.
As part of the ban, the DDA has installed water dispensers at each complex to provide an alternative source of drinking water.
In addition, separate bins for wet and dry waste have been set up to facilitate proper segregation of refuse.
The measures are part of a month‑long cleanliness drive that aims to reduce plastic waste and improve hygiene standards in public recreation areas.
