Chirag Paswan Accuses Rahul Gandhi, Congress of Seeking Foreign Backing in Bihar

Central minister Chirag Paswan addressed a gathering in Hajipur, Bihar, and directly targeted the opposition leader Rahul Gandhi and his party, the Congress. He asserted that the party is counting on foreign powers to secure a foothold in Indian politics. Paswan’s remarks came amid heightened political activity ahead of upcoming electoral contests in the state. He did not name any specific foreign entity, but emphasized that external assistance undermines democratic processes. The Congress has not issued an immediate response to the accusations, and political analysts note that such statements could intensify partisan rhetoric in the region.
