All schools in Chennai are closed today, November 3, as authorities follow cyclone Murasu advisories. Parents are advised to stay indoors and monitor weather updates.
The Tamil Nadu government has announced a school holiday for all educational institutions in Chennai on November 3, following the latest cyclone Murasu advisories. The decision comes after meteorological reports warned of strong winds and heavy rainfall that could affect the city.
The Education Department urged parents to keep their children at home and to check official channels for any changes in the schedule. Schools that were already closed for the day will remain shut until further notice.
Cyclone Murasu is expected to make landfall in the coastal districts later this week, prompting authorities to adopt precautionary measures across the state.
