BJP leaders criticised an opposition rally at Ramlila Maidan, alleging low turnout and labeling the event a flop.
Delhi – An opposition gathering at the historic Ramlila Maidan drew sharp rebuke from senior BJP leaders, who described the event as a "flop show" and claimed the venue was largely empty. The rally, organized by opposition parties, aimed to mobilise supporters ahead of upcoming electoral battles.
BJP spokespersons publicly questioned the turnout, suggesting that the opposition failed to attract a significant crowd and that the rally lacked substance. Their remarks were circulated through party channels and covered by national media outlets.
The exchange underscores the heightened political tension in the capital, where both sides are intensifying campaigns ahead of the next election cycle. No further details on the rally’s agenda or attendance figures were released.
