AMS Patna’s ENT department marked a milestone by performing Bihar’s first bone conduction implant surgery. The procedure, aimed at restoring hearing through bone conduction, was carried out on a patient with severe conductive hearing loss. In addition to this breakthrough, the department completed three complex hearing implant surgeries on the same day, showcasing its surgical expertise. With these procedures, the institute’s hearing implant program has now surpassed 400 surgeries, underscoring its growing reputation in audiological care.
