Nareesh Kumar Passwan, 23, fell from a moving train near Lakshmi station while traveling back home after celebrating Durga Puja with his family, and died on the spot.
Nareesh Kumar Passwan, a 23-year-old labourer, was travelling from Bengaluru to his hometown after celebrating Durga Puja with his family. While the train was passing near Lakshmi station, he slipped and fell onto the tracks, resulting in fatal injuries. Emergency services arrived promptly, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Passwan had married in April and had moved to Bengaluru in August to earn a livelihood. The accident occurred as he was on his way back, marking a tragic end to his short-lived marriage and recent employment.
Local authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the fall, focusing on safety measures at the station and the train’s speed at the time of the incident. The family has been informed and is mourning the sudden loss of their young relative.
