A YSRCP office in Rayachoti was partially burned and several party vehicles were set on fire, with the party alleging involvement of TDP activists.

The Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) office in Rayachoti, Andhra Pradesh, was partially set on fire on Tuesday, and a number of party vehicles were torched in the incident. Local police arrived at the scene after reports of smoke and flames, and the blaze was brought under control within a few hours.

Party officials condemned the act, describing it as a premeditated attack aimed at destabilising the party's local operations. YSRCP spokesperson blamed activists of the rival Telugu Desam Party (TDP), alleging that they orchestrated the arson.

No casualties were reported, but the damage to the office premises and the vehicles is under assessment. Police have registered a case of criminal damage and are investigating the incident, while both parties have called for calm and urged the public to refrain from speculation until the inquiry is complete.

The incident adds to a series of political confrontations in the region ahead of upcoming local elections, raising concerns about law and order in the district.
