Youth Tied to Tree and Beaten by Villagers in Uttar Pradesh After Visiting Married Woman

On Friday afternoon, villagers in Maholiya Veeran village, Uttar Pradesh, seized two youths who had visited a married woman in the area. After the visit, the villagers suspected an abduction and tied one of the youths to a tree before beating him.\n\nThe incident began when the men had recently spoken with the woman, leading locals to believe they intended to abduct her. In response, the villagers tied the male youth to a tree and assaulted him, while the other youth fled the village.\n\nFollowing the assault, the youths escaped from the village, leaving the incident to be reported by local residents. Police later received a complaint and registered a case against the two youths for alleged abduction attempts.
