Ujjain police announced the arrest of a young man who was found in possession of MD drugs estimated to be worth three lakh rupees. The suspect was taken into custody after officers discovered a transparent plastic sheet containing a white, powdery substance during a routine check.
Laboratory analysis confirmed the powder to be MD drugs, with a total weight of 61.50 grams. The seized quantity was valued at approximately three lakh rupees, according to the authorities.
During intensive questioning, the accused admitted that the substance was indeed MD drugs. Police records indicate that the individual has prior criminal entries, although details of earlier offenses were not disclosed.
The case has been forwarded to the district crime branch for further investigation, and the seized drugs will be processed as evidence.
