The Yash‑starrer 'Toxic' collected over ₹200 crore in total box‑office revenue by its fifth day, even though earnings slipped on Sunday, reports Livemint.
The Kannada‑language action drama "Toxic", starring Yash, crossed the ₹200‑crore (about $2.4 billion) cumulative box‑office mark by the end of its fifth day, according to data released by Livemint.
Despite a modest dip in collections on Sunday – the fifth day of its run – the film’s day‑five earnings were sufficient to push the total over the two‑hundred‑crore threshold.
This achievement places "Toxic" among a limited set of Indian movies that have breached the ₹200‑crore milestone within a short timeframe, underscoring Yash’s strong box‑office pull and the expanding appeal of regional cinema.
Industry observers suggest the performance could encourage further high‑budget ventures from the Kannada film sector, which has been gaining pan‑India visibility after recent successes.
