Woman Dies After Falling From Roof in Jalore, 11 Days Later

A woman in Jalore’s Bhadrajun area died on 24 September after falling from a roof and sustaining injuries. Her family has filed an FIR against her husband and five in‑law relatives, alleging dowry harassment and murder.
A woman was found injured on the roof of a house in Bhadrajun, Jalore, after falling from the roof. The incident occurred in the early hours of 13 September, and she was taken to a local hospital for emergency treatment.
She remained in critical condition for 11 days before succumbing to her injuries on 24 September. The family reported that the fall caused severe internal injuries that could not be reversed.
Following the death, the victim’s father filed a First Information Report against her husband and five relatives from the in‑law side. The FIR accuses them of dowry harassment and murder, alleging that the family was subjected to repeated abuse.
Jalore police have registered the complaint and are investigating the allegations. They have also requested forensic experts to examine the scene and the victim’s body for evidence of foul play.
