Wolf scene featuring Ravi Dubey, Sai Pallavi cut from Indian version of 'Ramayana'

The streaming version of the mythological series 'Ramayana' released for Indian audiences has undergone editorial changes, according to reports. A notable sequence in which actors Ravi Dubey and Sai Pallavi appear alongside a wolf has been omitted from the final cut. The decision was taken during the localisation process to align the content with regional sensibilities.

Actor Satyen Chaturvedi, who also appears in the series, disclosed that several of his scenes were removed in the same edit. He confirmed that the trimming was part of a broader effort to streamline the narrative for the Indian market.

The changes have been highlighted by media outlets, drawing attention to how international productions are adapted for domestic viewers. No official statement from the producers or the streaming platform has been released regarding the specific rationale behind the cuts.
