Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced that West Bengal police and the Border Security Force have achieved effective coordination to tackle infiltration across the state's border, blaming the previous TMC government for lack of cooperation.

Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari held a press conference on Tuesday, declaring that West Bengal police and the Border Security Force (BSF) have forged a robust partnership to curb infiltration along the state's northern and eastern borders. He stated that any infiltrators will be sent back through the very routes they used to enter.

Adhikari highlighted joint patrols, shared intelligence networks, and synchronized response protocols as key components of this new coordination. He emphasized that the collaboration has already led to several successful interceptions of illegal crossings.

The CM criticized the former Trinamool Congress administration for its perceived lack of cooperation with border guarding agencies, suggesting that this had hampered earlier efforts to secure the frontier.

Officials say the strengthened partnership will not only deter future infiltration attempts but also enhance overall border security for West Bengal, aligning with national security objectives.
