He presided over the 61st convocation of the University of Saurashtra, Rajkot, as the Chancellor. On this prestigious occasion, he awarded degrees to 45,924 students from 16 faculties and presented gold medals to meritorious students, wishing them a bright future.
The convocation is not just an opportunity to receive degrees, but a day to take a step towards nation-building.

Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country has witnessed a new revolution in infrastructure, Vande Bharat trains, expressways, and startups. Today, India is among the leading export nations in the fields of science, technology, space, aviation, and defense manufacturing.
Out of the 132 gold medals presented at the ceremony, 105 gold medals went to the students, which is an excellent example of the strong women's power of our country. We urge the youth to draw inspiration from this talent and contribute to the country's progress with the spirit of 'Nation First'.
We call upon the students to use their acquired knowledge for the welfare of humanity, social upliftment, and the development of India @ 2047.
