Villagers Attack Forest Ranger in Shypur’s Kuno Range, Stone‑Throwing Incident

A group of villagers in Shypur’s Kuno forest range assaulted a forest guard, hurling stones at his vehicle and tearing his uniform, prompting the forest department to lodge a complaint with local police.
Earlier this week, a forest guard stationed in the Kuno range of Shypur was confronted by a crowd of local villagers. The villagers surrounded the officer's vehicle, threw stones at it and forcibly ripped the uniform from his body, causing a public disturbance in the forest area.
Following the assault, officials from the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department filed a formal complaint at the nearest police station, detailing the accusations made by the department against the participants.
Police investigators have now begun gathering evidence from the scene, interviewing eyewitnesses and working to identify the individuals involved. The inquiry will focus on the allegations recorded in the department's complaint, with authorities indicating that appropriate legal action will follow based on the findings.
