A tiger struck a person in Kanha Tiger Reserve, near Balaghat town, on a recent day. The animal was reportedly approaching a human in the forest area. A nearby villager, who was walking in the vicinity, reacted quickly and struck the tiger with a stick, forcing it to retreat.

The victim was taken to a local health facility where medical staff treated injuries caused by the attack. No serious injuries were reported, and the individual is expected to recover fully.
