On Wednesday evening, the highly anticipated teaser of the pan‑India action epic "Ranabali" was released, featuring the star pairing of Vijay Devarakonda and director Rahul Sankrityan. The teaser was unveiled in Hyderabad and promises a grand launch during the Dasara festival.
The film is set between 1854 and 1878, during British rule in the Royalseema region, and follows the real events of that era. Vijay Devarakonda portrays a powerful warrior, while Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife, Jayamma. The film also stars Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo as the British officer and main antagonist, adding a global dimension.
The duo has previously starred together in "Geetha Govindam" and "Dear Comrade" and this is their third collaboration. Their marriage makes this their first film as a couple, raising expectations among fans.
Produced by Maitreya Movie Makers under the banner of T‑Series, the project is led by Nivaan Yerneni and V. Ravishankar. The music is composed by Ajay‑Atul, with cinematography by Neerav Sha and Jishnu Bhattacharya. Filming is in its final stages and the film is slated for a worldwide release on 16 October in multiple languages.
