Vidyut Jammwal Says Indian Cinema Can Rival Hollywood’s Action Spectacles

Vidyut Jammwal, known for his martial‑arts‑driven roles, told Deccan Chronicle that Indian cinema now possesses the technical and creative capacity to produce action spectacles comparable to those seen in Hollywood. He highlighted recent advancements in visual effects, stunt choreography and production budgets as key factors narrowing the gap.
The actor, who rose to fame with films such as "Commando" and "Force 2", said his own experience working on high‑octane sequences has convinced him that Indian filmmakers can match global standards without compromising local storytelling.
Industry observers see Jammwal’s remarks as a reflection of a broader trend, with studios investing in state‑of‑the‑art equipment and collaborating with international VFX houses. If the momentum continues, the next generation of Indian blockbusters could rival Hollywood blockbusters in scale and visual impact.
