Vidyut Jammwal Reveals Hollywood Actors Earn Overtime Pay for Every Extra Minute

Vidyut Jammwal, known for his action roles, recently shared an insight about Hollywood's payment structure during an interview with The Times of India. He explained that actors in Hollywood receive overtime pay for every minute they work beyond the scheduled hours, which motivates them to stay on set longer. This practice contrasts with many Indian film productions, where payment is often fixed per day or per project, and overtime is not typically compensated on a minute‑by‑minute basis. Jammwal's comments highlight the financial incentives that can shape shooting schedules in Hollywood, and underline differences in industry norms between the U.S. and India.
