Six people have been arrested in connection with the Versova sack murder case, while the Crime Branch and Mumbai police are publicly disputing who deserves credit for solving the crime.
The case came to light after a body was discovered inside a sack in the Versova area of Mumbai, prompting an immediate police investigation. Following the discovery, law enforcement teams detained six individuals suspected of involvement in the murder.
Both the Crime Branch and the local Mumbai police have claimed involvement in cracking the case, leading to a public disagreement over which unit should be credited for the breakthrough. Officials from each side have expressed differing views on the matter, causing tension between the two forces.
Investigators continue to gather evidence and prepare charges against the arrested suspects. The judicial process will determine the outcome of the case as authorities work to ensure a fair trial.
