Varun Dhawan Says 2‑Year‑Old Lara Insists on Hearing Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’ 68 Times on Koffee With Karan

The ninth season of the popular talk show Koffee With Karan featured Bollywood star Varun Dhawan, who joined host Karan Johar for a candid conversation about his personal life. During the segment, Dhawan spoke about his two‑year‑old daughter Lara and a recurring bedtime routine that has turned into a light‑hearted family dispute. He explained that Lara repeatedly asks to hear Michael Jackson’s classic ‘Beat It’, and she has requested the song roughly sixty‑eight times in a short span, prompting him to negotiate playtime and bedtime. The actor described the situation as a typical parental challenge, noting that he often has to balance his daughter’s enthusiasm for the track with the need to settle down for sleep. Such anecdotes highlight the everyday realities of celebrity parents, who, despite their public image, face ordinary parenting moments at home.
