The United States Postal Service has issued a new Diwali stamp featuring a rangoli artwork by an Indian artist, marking the second such stamp issued since 2016.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) today announced the release of a new Diwali stamp that showcases a rangoli design created by an Indian artist. The stamp, which features vibrant colors and traditional motifs, is part of the USPS’s effort to celebrate cultural diversity and international festivals.
This is the second Diwali-themed stamp issued by the USPS, following a similar release in 2016. The 2024 stamp highlights the growing cultural ties between the United States and India, and underscores the popularity of Diwali among the Indian diaspora in America.
Collectors and the general public can purchase the stamp at post offices across the country or through the USPS online store. The design is expected to become a sought-after item for both philatelists and those who celebrate Diwali.
The USPS has stated that the stamp will be available for a limited time, encouraging people to add this unique piece to their collections and to share the festive spirit with friends and family.
