US Congressman Riley Moore says H‑1B workers from India, China are taking American jobs

Congressman Riley Moore asserted that a significant number of H‑1B visa holders from India and China are filling positions in the United States, often at lower wage rates than domestic workers. Moore's remarks highlight concerns about the impact of foreign skilled labour on the American job market. The statement was cited by The Economic Times, which reported the congressman's view without providing additional data or official statistics. While the claim has sparked debate, no further details on the scale of the alleged displacement were offered in the report. The discussion adds to ongoing conversations about immigration policy and its economic implications in the United States.
