UP NEET: 71 Candidates Barred

In a significant development, the Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) has taken a stern decision against 71 candidates who were found to be ineligible for MBBS and BDS admissions in Uttar Pradesh. The decision was made during the ongoing UP NEET Counselling 2026. The DGME has been conducting the counselling process to ensure that only eligible candidates are granted admission to medical colleges in the state. The move is expected to bring transparency and fairness to the admission process. The barred candidates will not be able to participate in the further rounds of counselling.
