The University of Nebraska‑Lincoln announced that one of its faculty members, who has achieved bestseller status and earned the admiration of media mogul Oprah Winfrey, will be honored with a distinguished literary award. The accolade, described as prestigious within the publishing community, recognizes the author’s contribution to contemporary literature.
