On Sarvapitru Amavasya, a rare Gajchhaya Yoga coincided with Saturday in Ujjain, prompting devotees to take holy dips in the Shipra river, perform pind daan at Siddhawat, and participate in the 11th year of free tarpan offerings in Neelganga.

The confluence of Sarvapitru Amavasya and the rare astrological combination known as Gajchhaya Yoga occurred on a Saturday, according to local astrologers. This alignment is believed to multiply the spiritual merit of rituals performed on that day.

Devotees gathered at the Shipra river for a holy bath, considered purifying, and proceeded to the Siddhawat site to offer pind daan for their ancestors. Simultaneously, the Neelganga area hosted the eleventh consecutive year of free tarpan, where offerings are made without charge to the public.

Officials and temple authorities arranged for smooth conduct of the rituals, ensuring adequate facilities for the pilgrims. The event drew attention for its religious significance and the unique astrological timing that is said to enhance the fruits of charitable and spiritual acts.
