The Ujjain police department has declared a cash reward of ₹10,000 for each of more than 60 fugitives wanted in drug‑related cases, some of whom have been sought since 1999.
Ujjain police, led by the city’s Superintendent of Police, announced a monetary incentive of ₹10,000 for information leading to the arrest of over 60 fugitives linked to narcotics offences. The reward applies to each individual who is apprehended as a result of public tips.
The list includes suspects who have evaded arrest for decades, with some cases dating back to 1999. These individuals are accused of manufacturing, trafficking and distributing illegal drugs across the district, contributing to a persistent drug‑related crime problem.
Authorities urged citizens to cooperate, emphasizing that any credible information will be rewarded promptly. The move aims to bolster ongoing investigations and demonstrate the police’s commitment to curbing the drug menace in Madhya Pradesh.
