Two men from Shimoga were detained after allegedly stealing valuables from a villa in Calangute, Goa. Police say the theft was discovered during a routine inspection.
Two men from Shimoga were taken into custody by local police in Calangute, a popular beach town in Goa, after a burglary at a villa.
Authorities say the suspects entered the property during the night and removed jewelry and electronics. The theft was reported by the villa owner, who called the police.
Police recovered some of the stolen items and are investigating how the suspects gained access. They are also looking into whether the theft was part of a larger burglary ring.
